Restore a missing file

I keep getting an error message that tells me a Windows file is missing. How can I find and restore that file?

It's easy to restore the file from the Windows CD-ROM. First, launch the System File Checker (click on Start, Run, type SFC and click ok.) When the program starts, select 'Extract one file from installation disk' and type the name of the file in the box. Now click Start. In the Extract File dialog box, use the Browser button to select your Windows 98 CD into the 'Restore From' box. Click ok. The file will then be restored to your hard disk.
